Millions across the Horn of Africa struggle to access safe drinking water as climate change continues to disrupt rainfall patterns. Prolonged droughts in countries like Somalia, Kenya, and Ethiopia have led to displacement, malnutrition, and the spread of waterborne diseases—placing entire communities at risk.
For over 20 years, ARF has worked with drought-affected communities in Somalia and Eastern Ethiopia to provide reliable access to clean water. With drought now impacting up to 90% of these regions, the need for sustainable water solutions has never been more urgent. Why Water Matters:
